These new world wines are those wines produced outside the traditional wine-growing areas of Europe, in particular from Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States.

Forefront Cabernet by Pine Ridge
$22.49 $17.99

This wine presents an effusive bouquet of ripe blueberry, raspberry and dark cherry aromas, backed by hints of vanilla bean, subtle mint leaf and cinnamon stick. The palate is lush, opening with flavors fo blackberry pie and cherry fruit and backed by fine tannins and hints of toasted caramel, sweet cream and ground clove on the supple finish.

Hall Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
$54.99 $43.99

With its deep purple hue, the 2008 HALL Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon drives complex aromas of jammy blackberry puree, rich cassis, Asian Five-Spice and dark chocolate from the glass. The fleshy texture is both dense and opulent, the perfect platform for brawny black and briar fruit flavors that persist through the velvety, enduring finish. This wine will continue to gain complexity and grace for 5-10 years.

Franciscan Magnificat
$43.74 $34.99

Magnificat is one of the original Meritage blends in California, a wine Franciscan has proudly crafted since 1985. Named for J.S. Bach’s masterpiece, it is crafted to be as seamless and harmonious as its musical namesake. Sourced from over 200 small lots of red wine, Magnificat is created to showcase our finest Bordeaux blend of the vintage.  Carefully assessing each lot as it ages in barrel, we create the blend with repeated  trials and blind tastings.

Bogle Phantom
$22.49 $17.99

Though the wine is remarkable now, age in the bottle will only integrate these distinct varietals more. Welcome the winery ghost into your home again with this latest vintage, and enjoy with full-flavored and hearty meals…before it vanishes again.

bogle \bõ’g∂l\ n. [Scots, perhaps from Welsh] A goblin; a specter; a phantom; a bogy, boggart or bugbear.

The Phantom is BACK!
Taft Street Russian River Chardonnay

Cantina Zaccagnini Montepulciano Da Bruzzo
$17.64 $14.99

The farmstead of Zaccagnini was founded in 1978 as a family-run winery, and today produces about 500,000 bottles per year from 100% handpicked grapes. While Abruzzo doesn’t attract Hollywood celebrities fleeing the spotlight or even many tourists, it has one claim to fame: Marcello Zaccagnini and his winemaker, Concezio Marulli, who are eliciting nectar from its rough hills. Marcello grew up as a farmer working in the vineyards owned by his father, growing grapes to sell to local winemakers. In 1977, barely into his twenties, Marcello determined that if no one would buy their grapes, he would work with his father to make the wine themselves. Cantina Zaccagnini is made of 100% Montepulciano and was aged traditionally in Slavonic oak. The resulting wines tend to be softer and more accessible than Chianti or Nebbiolo, with lower acidity and mild sweeter tannins.  Each sip delivers a mouthful of ripe berries, leather, and black pepper, with subtle hints of oregano, dried herbs, and a touch of vanilla.  (WB rating:  92 points)

Chateauneuf Du Pape La Crau Vieux Telegraphe
$85.99 $68.79
A classic red Châteauneuf-du-Pape, very fine and elegant. The best vintages will age for 25 years and more

"Deep red. Raspberry, kirsch and cured meat aromas are complicated by garrigue and hot stones. Nicely focused red fruit flavors possess impressive sweetness and very good depth, finishing with excellent sweetness and length. Note that "La Crau" is always stated on the label and that this is the only cuvee labeled as Vieux Telegraphe. 92-94"

Boisrenard Chateauneuf Du Pape
$79.99 $63.99

Parcels of old vines 60-100 years in age, planted in soils of great character and complexity, provide the grapes for this wine.

"This powerful red offers a muscular core of roasted fig, blackberry and cassis fruit framed by thick, mesquite-tinged tannins, with loads of tobacco, pepper and tar coating the mouthwatering finish. Yet despite its power, this is racy and defined. Best from 2014 through 2024."

Hanzell Pinot Noir
$87.99 $70.39

Lovely red fruit aromas of pomegranate and cherry are enhanced by scents of rose petal, cardamom and clove. With time, the wine unfolds to reveal orange peel, pipe tobacco and a distinct earthiness reminiscent of a woodsy forest floor. Flavors of blackberry, pomegranate, tangerine and clean mineral are concentrated, yet lively and buoyant across the palate. Fine tannins and balanced acidity sustain the persistent fruit through a long finish.

The clarity and concentration of flavor combined with the inherent structure will ensure many years of enjoyment and richly reward those with the patience to cellar. Decanting one to two hours before serving is recommended.

What People Are Saying

Very good. Hadn't had it in a year or so. I love the wine and wish it was a little cheaper, but great for special occasions. Happy 4th. Thanks again, and whenever I order online I will only buy from your company.
